JOSEPH MCMATH
Joseph leads McMath with 20+ years of hands-on construction experience across Western Australia. His philosophy is simple: a CEO who hasn't poured a slab recently has no business telling others how. He's the first on-site and the last to leave and he expects the same of every team he leads.
Joseph is steering McMath toward its 10-year vision: becoming a fully sustainable construction partner for WA, aligned with Australia's 2050 Net Zero commitment.

Sam is the operational backbone of McMath. He oversees workforce logistics, project coordination, and the compliance frameworks that protect every client McMath works with. His ability to move between boardroom and job site keeps McMath's corporate standards grounded in construction reality.
Sam ensures that no project loses a day to mismanagement whether that's workforce gaps, scheduling conflicts, or compliance issues before they arise.

Here at McMath, our focus is providing you with as much reassurance as we do labour. But how do we do that?
We employ industry leaders. Our legal, human resources, corporate, and accounting teams are nothing short of extraordinary. On the backline we exceed expectations but on the frontline we excel even further beyond that. Our working directors are on the job managing your labour hire teams in person. Have you requested a first year apprentice? Our working directors are 20 year plus veterans on the tools. That seamless ability to switch between white and blue collars is a pivotal difference that allows our corporate teams to remain connected to reality.
We cover insurance and taxes. Unlike most, our legal team ensure we qualify as a genuine sub-contractor meaning you don't get penalised for failing to withhold PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation or leave entitlements. So who covers all of that for the staff that we provide you? We do. If your "sole-traders" are operating under an ABN but have dedicated hours, a boss, and no freedom to choose how they get the job done or when their shifts are, in the eyes of the law they are deemed an employee regardless of whether or not they maintain an active sole-trader ABN. The implications for you are severe if it is ever pursued in court and often results in ATO debt, owed superannuation, Workers Compensation Insurance and annual leave entitlements out of your bank account. We take all of this off your shoulders and ensure we employ your labour hires on our books, we withhold their tax per the 2025-2026 tax brackets, calculate super payments at 12.5%, calculate payroll tax at 5.5% (adjusted for each state), account for workers compensation insurance fluctuations at 15% due to work in a high risk industry and maintain currency with WH&S legislation. Our competitors come in cheaper because our competitors put you at risk. We don't cut corners. Instead we instill reassurance.
